In 1997 we decided to add Red Angus to complement our Gelbvieh cattle. We chose Red Angus cattle because of the consistancy of the cattle. We liked the deep-sided, moderate frame carrle and we particularly like the resulting animal when we crossed the Gelbvieh and Red Angus. Additionally, the Red Angus allowed us to offer our bull customers more choices at bull selecting time.
